Day before y'day they served uppuma kozhukkattai & kathrikkai suttu pisainja gothsu in NGS canteen. In my grandmAs terms, the gothsu was 'puLi seththa thudikka irukku'. Now one can write thousand words about that but will fail abjectly at conveying that earthy taste. One has to experience that for self. VS concerts are like that. Experience it. And reexperience it by recall. No amount of words can do justice.

Vijaya Siva has given an excellent concert begining with gem of a rarely heard Varnam by Tyagaraja.Such calming influence in the midst of a great turbulence inflicted by many noisy concerts.So much poise and authority in the recital by Sri Vijaya Siva and team.N C Bharadwaj and Chandrasekhara Sarm as well as Trivandrum Sampath has given outstanding support to Vocal.
