An appeal to all Rasikas from MadRasana
Good morning. Hope you are doing well. Last year we had reached out to this group for a special request, as a fund raiser to MadRasana Trust. We were overwhelmed by the response. Your generous support to the MadRasna Trust last year had a significant impact.
We are back for the same.
As promised during our campaign, every bit of the funds collected was dedicated solely to nurturing artists and not to sustain MadRasana itself.
We allocated the funds primarily for three key purposes:
1. We utilized a portion to partially compensate the artists' fees for our December festival.
2. Throughout the year, we featured numerous young artists on our YouTube channel. Nearly 24 artists benefited from this initiative, with most videos garnering impressive view counts—some exceeding 10k, several reaching 50k, and one even surpassing 100k views. These numbers are truly remarkable for our art form, and many artists have reported invitations to perform in sabhas across India due to their online exposure.
3. We initiated free live shows with young artists, hosting five of them, ensuring top-notch production quality. All these performances are scheduled for future YouTube uploads to expand their reach. These events have been immensely popular, often over-subscribed.
In summary, we're delighted with the impact we've achieved, a feat we couldn't accomplish in earlier years. Artists are witnessing the positive influence on their artistry and, importantly, the global reach it's attaining. We've received personal requests to feature some of these artists in private events, showcasing the effectiveness of this format. We intend to continue this initiative next year.
We are reaching out to this group, to see if you want to be part of our journey. Once again, any money that goes into the Trust will be used only for welfare of musicians and its ecosystem. For all other operating expense we will use MadRasana ( different from MadRasana Trust).
All contributions will get 80G tax benefit. As a Thank You gesture, we will be giving you season pass for 2 for our December Festival, which is scheduled between Dec 22nd to Dec 26th.
