Thanks for sharing this article, @rajeshnat . Well-written article citing one of the grand lineage of disciples of Tyagsraja. Almost all of those who came from Tyagaraja's disciple lineages are composers as well! What a wonderful way she sums up that the greatest guru dakṣiṇa that he could give his guru is by ensuring the perpetuity of the lineage with producing great musicians and composers!

Re: Manambuchavadi Venkatasubbayya
manambuchavadi had two eminent disciples. mahavaidyanatha sivan. who was way ahead of patnam.
both were of almost same age, patnam migrated to Chennai. The melaragamalika of maha..sivan is unmatched. Maha vaidyanatha sivan was uncrowned king of cm in his decades. HE never took female disciples, especially from the dancing community. HE had a number of great disciples and many of them and their students were all sangitha kalanidhis. read the scintillating write up on M.V.SIVAN by V,SRIRAM.

@rajeshnat the article cited is not atall worth mentioning.
moreover, just giving link to article in magazines is no 'deep writing'
