Composer of this kriti - Sri Meenakshi Thaaye (Bagesri)

Dear Forumites,

Here is a Tamil composition set to Bagesri ragam that has almost become some sort of a family anthem for us over the past 20-30 years. We hail from Madurai and we have heard my paati sing this song & that's how we learnt it.

Has anyone listened to this song sung by any artiste? Any idea who the composer is? Given the Madurai link - I'm guessing it would be someone based out of the temple city or surrounding areas. Also, my aunt learnt from Sri. T.N. Seshagopalan Sir for a few years & she might have learnt it from him.
