the morsing artist is Bangalore Rajasekar, a great morsing exponent after Pudukkottai Mahadevan ( in terms of nadham)

I missed the first part of the thani.
Somebody should say a word in praise of Karthik, just to complete the percussion roundup. He can always be relied on to answer anything, in terms of feeling or calculation.
My high points of this performance: Karthik's kurta (no offence to his music; that was great too) and the morsing performance, which was remarkable, and struck a good balance between restraint and flamboyance, with a great range of sounds and very expressive technique. I am sure he wouldhave been more laid back with a more laid-back main artist: what is right for a particular concert is what is right, and the thani should fit and blend with the whole. I hope I get the chance to see this artist. I don't think I have done.
