I have a veena that is smaller than the average size but it was not sold to me as a 3/4-size veena so I don't know if it qualifies. I live on the East Coast as well but the exact location matters -- it is not easy to transport these things. Ask your friend to send email to me thenpaanan AT gmail DOT com.pkalyani wrote:A friend of mine is looking for a 3/4 sized veena for her young daughter. They are located in the east coast of the US and were wondering if there was someone on the east coast who was looking for a buyer for their veena.

Dear Mr Thenpaanan
This is Uma from India. I am writing this message to seek your kind help. I am teaching Veena/Vocal online through Skype. Is it possible to introduce me any contacts interested in learning. I am available on [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected]. Looking forward to hear from you. Best regards.

Dear Uma Maheswari
This is lahari from India. I also teach vocal/veena/violin/khanjira/mridangam/chanda/cymbals/ghatam/bharathanatyam...... Can you let me have your contacts? Thanks

I wonder if this forum is an advt/promotional one.....
Anyway, Uma, i think you could put up ur advt in the sangeetha kalalaya post and maybe just once.....A suggestion.

Hi Kalyani, I wonder if you could possibly arrange to put up notices regarding this at any temples and other places on the east coast where Indians routinely get together. And of course, the local Indian tabloids / Indian stores. You'll probably get more responses that way.
Lahari, good point. We Indians never change, do we?
