Workaround for Rapidshare delaying tactics

Rapidshare free account intoduces delays of around 1 hour between 2 downloads from the same IP address.

In order to workaround that, each download can be done through public proxy servers. A list of tested public proxy servers are listed below. Before each download, the proxy setting of your internet connection has to be changed to include one of the proxy servers & the port, do the download, change to next proxy server, download the next file and so on.

In internet explorer, go to Tools menu--> Internet Options--> CLick Connections TAB --> Click LAN setting, --> Select "Use a Proxy Server" --> enter IP address and the port number-> Click OK and come out

I feel that labelling the policy of rapid share as 'delaying tactics' is rather uncharitable. Surely the are not running the business for reasons of health. They want to generate some legitimate profits. There is a tamil proverb "mavukketra paniyaram" which means the quality of a finished product is a function of its ingredients. At the same time the suggestions of Sunayana is similar to our practice of going to another shop if the terms are not favourable in one shop and is quite legitimate Let us mind our own business without attributing motives. May Sri Rama bless us
