Kiravani, Centre for music excellence, for the promotion of Cultural events was inaugurated last week in Plot No: 302, First Floor, 50/57 Kamarajar Salai, Alwar thirunagar, Ch-600087, Ph - 93809 54001 / 99411 22566/ 93821 31976.
The activities include training in Karnatic Vocal in various levels from beginner’s level to advanced learners and in devotional music. The centre also organizes music concerts by various leading and up coming artistes. The first concert was by up coming Vocalist Vijalakshmi Rajaram, Violin B. Sudha and Mridangam Tanjavur Padma last week.
The classes will be conducted by Smt. A. Subhashini, a reputed vocalist and a B High grade artiste of the All India Radio. She holds a M. Phil in Music from the Madras University and her research area was on Karaharapriya in Tyagaraja’s Kritis. A. Subhashini has given music performances in various places all over India.
