Sangeet Samrat Bade Raamdas Mishraji

Sangeet Saamrat Bade Raamdas ji lived between 1877-1960. Around 1920 he was very Famous in the Northern and Eastern parts of the country. He enjyoed the patronage of the King of Nepal . He had many students .There is a big list. Among them Chote Raamdas is one I remember .(There is a small book on his life which I recovered from one of his distant relatives) Another is Pandit Jaalpa Prasad Mishra also his grandson ( through his only daughter). Bade Raamdas ji developed a unique style of Kheyal Gaayaki. He sung his own compositions with mudhra " raamdas ke mohan pyare"
