Amrithavahini is a rare ragam that, as far as I know features only two compositions (there might be more of course). The two compositions I know of are Sri Rama Padama and Sadguru Neeve (Ambujam Krishna). The ragam is a janyam of 20th mela, Natabhairavi.

Renditions of this krithi-

1. Smt. D K Pattammal- https://youtu.be/R9y5MJkSiD8

2. Sri T M Krishna- https://youtu.be/-WRyH_7hqtk

3. Sri M Balamuralikrishna- https://youtu.be/SYHqBa30F4U (And I think this is the best rendition of this krithi)

4. Smt. Amritha Murali- https://youtu.be/-mlPVd7zhpY (This rendition is an extremely close second in my humble opinion)

This ragam is unique in that it's one another of Tyagaraja's own creations. And the krithi is exemplary. At the very outset we can notice some fine prayogams like PaDMa, incidentally coinciding with Padama of the sahityam, thereby exhibiting Swaraksharam.

The ragam might sound similar to Saramathi, Jayantasri and their ilk.

Thank you very much. I think it is a single-kruthi ragam of Thayagaraja Swami . I agree with your perception about the lyrics.
