"Despite several appeals, successive governments have failed to recognise the value of the historic news daily. Sudharma has an annual subscription fee of only Rs 250 and gets a mere Rs 1,000 as ad revenue from the Karnataka government."

I wish this paper gets more encouragement so that it has a healthy future.

There does exist an online Sanskrit magazine titled "Vishvavani". It's the outcome of an online network of students, faculty and alumni of Indian origin from various Universities in United States. Into its third edition, Vishvavani features a wide range of topics, evan a Sanskrit crossword puzzle!

Currently, Vishvavani is the only active online Sanskrit magazine. There used to be another online magazine titled "Apoorvavani", which was the first online Sanskrit magazine but it is currently not active.

The magazine is available for free in PDF format here - http://www.speaksanskrit.org/vishvavani.shtml
