Following the inaugural address and festivities, Palghat Ramprasad concert was live streamed in FB but due to tech issues after 3 minutes into Seethamma Mayamma, telecast was cutoff and continued only when Tanam was ending. Luckily they posted a premiered full recording 2 days later with excellent video and audio.

Seethamma Mayamma with neraval and swaram totally set the tone.
Shanmukapriya RTP followed by Thani

This was truly a highlight concert in several ways.
The elaborate Shanmukapriya raagam and equally brilliant response by new groom Vittal Rangan
Absolutely riveting Tanam - Sancharam at Ma, Kandam and Misram turns
And then the majestic sankneerna nadai pallavi presented in all its grandeur.
The ragamalika swaram included neraval also in two of the ragams instead of directly jumping to swarams.
Amazing anticipation throughout and different approaches and landings by Sri Sathishkumar with the Thani capping it all.
Vittal Rangan accompaniment was appreciated by PRP, PSK and the audience.

The camaraderie between the artists and how they appreciated and encouraged each other was a treat to witness.
Must listen if you like to immerse in Shanmukapriya of highest quality!

Somewhere in the chat - it was mentioned as "Brothers" Pallavi. So this is originally rendered by Sri Alathur(s)?

Yes. This is the famous pallavi rendered by Alathur Brothers in Music Academy in 1964- the year Alathur Subbaiyer got Sangeetha kalanidhi. That entire concert is now released by Nadabringa and available in you tube. A must hear concert.

Alathur sang this in Shanmugapriya. Many later day musicians also presented this- I remember Gayathri Venkatraghavan, Nithyasree etc.
