Aiswarya Sankar, disciple of Guru Suguna Varadachary has consolidated her musicianship and steadily climbing up the ladder. The Mudhra concert also was a pointer to her hard work, dedication, fidelity to the Musiri school, concert planning. She has developed a style that is unhurried yet retains the listeners attention till the end. The two alapanas- Sahana and Sankarabharanam were developed in a step by step method exploring the width and depth of the ragam. The unfailing glides, signature phrases and varying contours were faithfully expressed revealing her abundant manodharmam. The kritis were presented well with unfailing sangatis. For the kriti Sugunamule, neraval at Snanadi sukarmampulu and for the kriti Sarojadalanetri, neraval at the evergreen Samagana vinodini lifted the concert significantly followed by imaginative kalpana swarams.

Chitham irangadadenayya- I have heard many people singing as Chitham irangadenayya. Aiswarya sang it correctly. The bhavam of the kriti was well brought out. Bale.

Sarojadalanetri- The charanam Kori vachina would have enhanced enjoyment.

Akkarai Sornalatha ‘s alapanas were very well structured revealing her acumen and manodharmam and the neraval and swara returns were appreciable. Kalladakurichi Sivakumar on the Mridangam and Adambakkam Sankar hanlded percussion with aplomb enhancing the value of the concert.

Thank You v much! You have been watching my progress for almost a decade now. Glad to hear this from you, esp at this time where we have not had any in-person interactions with Rasikas.
