Hello everyone,

It'll be great if anyone can help me with the entire meaning of the very famous song "Vinayaka ninnu vina brochudaku" in Hamsadhwani by Pallavi Sri Gopala Iyer. Is the language Telugu?

Thanks.

Oh vinAyakA, if not (vinA) for you (ninnu), who (evaru) else (vEre) [is there] to protect me (brOcuTaku)?

Oh vinAyakA, if not (vinA) for you (ninnu), who (evaru) else (vEre) is there (unnAru) to protect me (brOcuTaku)?

rA is just a 'familiar' way of addressing the Lord.

Both make sense.

I will let Sishya or Riagapada or Divaker help with the rest of the meaning!

This is equivalent to 'DA' or "Di' endings in Tamil which indicates closeness between the devotee and the Lord - the antaryAmi.

vErevarunnaru is incorrect verevarura
verevarura? = Who else?
vigna raja = remover of obstacles

vinayakaa! ninnu vinaa brOcuTaku = Ganesha! apart from you, to protect me
