I am writing this from memory - could someone kindly proof-read? I am sure there are quite a few mistakes, especially in the 3rd line.

Here you go!

2nd line
kailAsanAtha -> kailAsanABha

3rd line
pratipAdya -> prativAdya
vidyun -> viDhwan

4rth line
CakrAnCita - > My spelling would be ChakrAnKitha

I have heard one version which goes "ShrI cakrAngita ratna pITha nilayAm"; don't know whether this alters the meaning.

chakrannkita is also correct.

It means marked by SrI cakra. Same with ancita

I am very bad at thsi spelling paln you use
drshrikaanth is correct.
Not the other corrections pointed earlier.

As for the version chakrangita , it is the effect of Tamil language.
Anga is the body part or a part.
Chakra can not be a part of the body.

From the dUrdarSaN (podigai) program on SrI GNB, it appears to be his own slOkam.

Please can correct me if I'm wrong.

SrI GBR - Please comment whether this is indeed a composition of your father.

i don't think it's gnb's; i'm still inclined to think it's from one of the longer slokams, like meenakshi pancharatnam. however, i don't have the text for any such slokams, but maybe someone who does, could help us :)

It is definitely not from AdiSankarabhagavadhpAdar's mInAkSi pancaratna.

I am sure it is before GNB's time. It "has been quoted since time immemorial".

This is considered as dhyana slokam for Soundaryalahari. If you are in Chennai, you can visit Lord Kapaleeswara Temple in Mylapore and in the Karpagambal Sannidhi, Soundaryalahari is engraved in the walls with this Dhyana Sloka.
