narum pAghena mrdu bhASita mana - one whose speech is sweet like fragrant (jaggery/sugar) syrup
Adi shivanaruL param jyOti - O great effulgence given to us by Shiva!
ninadu pAdamE tudi nItimati tandaruL nI dayAnidhi - You are an abode of mercy, giving us the judicious intellect to salute your feet
tIdillAda gIta shenshol kavi kunjaradAsa nEshaa - O friend/wellwisher of Kavi Kunjaradasa, he of the faultless musical word
