I'm looking for the lyrics of the composition "muruga muruga yena nee sol" of Papanasam Sivan in Hamsanandhi raga. Any pointers are appreciated.

Thanks.

Lakshman sir, thanks for the correction. I was curious too since the mudra wasnt there.

I shall await the lyrics of this song.

Some Youtubes quote Gomathi Ramasubramaniyam as the composer.

That was the information I had in 2010. Thanks Pasupathy for updating the composer's name.

Here you go:

pallavi
murugA murugA ena nI sol mukti aLittidum mArgam iduvE

The composer exhorts (us/herself) to chant (sol) the following (ena) "murugA murugA", because this is the only (iduvE) path (mArgam) that can provide (aLittiDum) salvation (mukti).

anupallavi
varugAda inbam vandiDumE janana maraNa bhayam aganriDumE

In addition, she says that (by chanting "murugA murugA") delightful experiences (inbam) that are difficult to come by (varugAda) will come (vandiDumE) (to you), and the fear (bhayam) of (repeated cycles of) birth (janana) and death (maraNa) will be removed (aganRiDumE).

caraNam
mAmaraiyum mAtavarum pugazhum mahimai koNDa mA mantiramAgum
sOmasundaran magan tOgai mayil mIdu vandarul guhan

She continues that (the chant "murugA") has become (Agum) a mighty (mA) chant to invoke (mantiram) skanda having acquired (koNDu) glory and grandeur (mahimai) as (something that is) praised (pugazhum) by both the sacred texts (mAmaRaiyum) and mighty ascetics (mAtavarum) [1] alike. (He) is guha (guhan) [2], the son (magan) of Siva (the handsome one [sundaran] adorned with the moon [sOma]), who will appear (vandu) astride (mIdu) a beautiful (tOgai) [3] peacock (mayil) to bless (aruL) (us).

FOOTNOTES
[1] Lakshman-ji, please note that this word is mAtavar (and not mAdavar or mAdhavar)
[2] Muruga becomes guha, as he occupies the caverns of our subconscious
[3] tOgai can also mean the long tail feathers of the peacock
