Supri had posted this request in the thread for MD's compositions on subrahmaNya, so I thought I would split it off and post it in the sAhitya section. Corrections welcome!

AnandAmRtAkarshiNi amRta varshiNi harAdi pUjitE SivE bhavAni


Oh dEvI who pulls out/draws out (karshiNi) the ambrosia (amRta) of happiness (Ananda) and showers (varshiNi) that nectar (amRta) on us! You are the ever-auspicious (SivE) wife of bhava/Siva (bhavAni) who is worshipped (pUjitE) by all gods including (Adi) Siva (hara) himself.

samashTi caraNam
SrI nandanAdi samrakshiNi shrI guruguha janani cid rUpiNi


Oh mother (janani) of subrahmaNya (guruguha) [1], you are the protector (samrakshINi) of vishNu (SrInandana) and other gods (Adi)! You are the very form (rUpiNi) of our consciousness and knowledge (cid).

madhyamakAla sAhityam
sAnanda hRdayE sadayE satya suvRshTi hEtavE tvAm
santatam cintayE amRtESvari salilam varshaya varshaya varshaya


You (tvAm) are the compassionate (sadayE) one who resides in the hearts (hRdayE) of those that experience bliss (sAnanda). You are the true (satya) cause (hEtavE) of good (su) rain showers (vRshTi). Even as I meditate/fix my thoughts (cintayE) on you continually (santatam) oh goddess of nectar (amRtESvari), please cause a veritable deluge of water (salilam) to shower (varshaya, varshaya, varshaya) down upon us.

Isn't srinandana referring to Manmatha (cupid) who is the son - nandana of ViSNu and srI..?

There are several references to Devi saving Manmatha after Siva burnt him down; in the Lalita sahasranama and saundarya lahari..

And it is sadyaH suvrSTi-hEtavE.. SadyaH meaning immediately...
