This song is found in the third volume of 'samgIta sourabhamu' by Dr Sripada Pinakapani. There are minor differences in the words, and also the second caranam is not given in the book. The song is credited to tanjAvUru cinnayya.

P: vAni pomdu cAlu, vaddanE, vanitAmaNI, ala
That gem of a lady 2(vanitAmaNi) said no (vaddane), enough (cAlu) with that person's 4 (ala vAni) intimacy (pomdu)
A: cAna = woman 3, mATalu+ella = matalella = all her words, dAni = her 3, sadanamE = abode alone, satatamu+anucu = saying it is permanent, numDeDi vAni = of such a person 4.
(The lady refused intimacy with a person) who says that her 3 words and abode alone are enduring.
C1: kamma viltuDEyu ammula pOTuna: kammaviltudu = cupid, Eyu = thrown by, ammula = arrows, pOtuna = by the cut, rommuna = in the bosom, nATina = pierce, kamma = the letter, vrAsiccina kommanu+ampi = sent the lady who wrote, vEga = speedily, tODi temmaninE = fetch, vAni = him4, (dAni = her) pommu+ani balkina vani = him, who sent her back.

Though the beautiful Syama Bhupala embraced and fondled me, do not know why he is finding fault. The lady refuses further intimacy with such a person who forgot love and affection.
Note: Bombay sisters sang the song almost identical, but only P, AP and 1st caranam only.

There is often doubt regarding songs composed by the court vidwAns of Mysore; as chinnaya, sadashiva rau and pattabhiramayya all enjoyed the patronage of Krshnarajendra Wodeyar..
The javalis Cheli naenETLu in paras, MuTTavaddura in SAvEri and Vani pondu all have the chAma bhupala mudra, which chinnayya used in songs he dedicated to the king..
meena,
As pattabhirAmayya's signature tAlavanEsha or its variations (TAlAvanIpa etc) aren't seen here; it couldn't be his composition; UNLESS there is a version somewhere with one of the charanas with his mudra..
I have seen this happen before, identical songs; with just a mudra insertion..
