Hoped to see Arasi at yesterday's program. Arasi... where are you?
Tomorrow, for me... 2.00pm, KGS (where I normally never go, on account of that T Nagar Traffic!)
Violin Duet
Vittal Ramamurthy (Violin) and Padma Shankar (Violin)
Srimushnam Raja Rao (Mrdangam) E.M. Subramaniam (Ghatam)
I enjoy Padma Shankar's accompaniment so much, and have been wanting to hear more of her.

Today I should be at VKV's 80th-Birthday function for VR.
Tomorrow, I am going to make an effort to be at Vedavalli's MA 9.00am program. Those who know me will know that, since I stopped being subject to office discipline, I haven't been much familiar with "9.00am": is the Academy very packed for these morning concerts? Will I get in easily?
(Many of my ex-bosses would comment that I wasn't very familiar with 9.00am even when I was working!)

I made it to Vedavalli's program, but nearly didn't due to a misunderstanding with some guy who seemed to be telling me that I needed a ticket and it was sold out! Rescued by Arvind, thankfully. Horrified by audience behaviour at the Acecemy; never seen worse --- might rant about that in another post. You've been warned, so can now avoid my rant
Tonight --- Pandit Birju Maharaj, Hamsadvani at the Youth Hostel, Indira Nagar.

It seems like a concert you need to listen to before making a judgement
