Thanks GBL. I also find those pictures quite poignant in many dimensions. One sort of abstract thought I get is the realization and reflection that when those pictures were taken, it was so lively and "present" for them, Same is happening to every moment that we pass through and we are continuously becoming someone else's past.. We better make every moment count.
BTW, I found this from another thread and it belong here. The caption gives the indication that it was a painting of Thyagaraja himself. Could this be true? I hope it is true.
Priceless: A rare painting that has been in the possession of Tyagaraya Seva Samithi, Nellore. This seems to be the same as another one in the archive with some modifications...
