Thanks for that. The way me (and family) have learnt it, the second line of the first charanam has "nelidu butti" (meaning born in a womb).
Also the third charanam is rather different the way I know it - "manO vaak kaayadinda maadida karmavu..." is the first line, and "swami" is used instead of "dEva"
I think that this is one of Purandaradasa's greatest compositions, being emotive, having a philosophical bent and also for being in one of my favourite ragas - Kalyanavasantham.
