Could be...in the jacket of the CD I have, it is identified as MD's composition, but then everyone knows how inaccurate the info on the jackets usually is.

There is one jayamangalam in nAdanAmakriya and one in ghanTa :-)

The latter is *generally* sung starting from charaNa (karunA rasAkshAya) - (just like in nInAmarUpamulaku)

Annamacharya's Marali Marali Jaya Mangalam is sung by Nedunuri Garu in Madhyamavati. Also, the Thiruppugazh 'Eru Mayil Eri Vilayadumugamonre' is sung as Mangalam in many Thiruppugazh Vazhipadu sessions.

Is Dikshitar's Dharmasamvardhani in Madhyamavati a mangalam kriti?

Is Dikshitar's Dharmasamvardhani in Madhyamavati a mangalam kriti?

I don't thinks so.

Amongst Dikshitar Kritis, Sri Kamalambike sive pahimam (Sri raga), Sri Abayamba ninnu (Sri raga- manipravala) and the chatur mangala ragamalika "Simhasanastithe" (Sowrashtram, Vasantha, Surutti and Madyamavati) can probably be considered as mangalam kritis
