I heard Neyveli Narayanan is accompanying them on the mridangam. He is one of my favourite contemporary percussionists.
Looking forward to their performance here.

It is meant to. Very creative naming of the tour... 8).

Disappointed that there are no concerts in the detroit area. :(

Outstanding Concert in Chicago! Kumaresh as we know is outstanding and was his best. However, Jayanthi was a suprise. I have not heard such an authentic and traditional nadam on the veena for years. She was OUTSTANDING. Overall a great concert with Neyveli narayanan on the mridangam and the ghatam artist.

A great treat to the ears and the stage displyed an abundance of Saraswathi Kataksham :-)

Their concert in San Jose was very good too. Though I'm not a big fan of raga pravahams, etc., their Kalyani creation was really good. The Natakurinji/Shanmukhapriya RTP was another highlight though I felt that it was a tad too long. Loved the thanam on the veena.
