Thanks for the concert cpblog! I'm listening to this concert for the first time. Though I've heard all these krithis rendered by him previously, in this concert, he provides a different interpretation which was very enjoyable.

rAga ratna mAlikacE ranjillun(a)Ta hari Sata
Lord hari shines forth adorned with the garland made of hundreds of exquisite rAgas composed as a means of fording the Ocean of Worldly Existence for redemption of this tyAgarAja.
These kIrtanas contain the true meanings of vEdas, the six SAstras, the (eighteen) epics and Agamas; singing these kIrtanas leads one in the true path of God realization following which the great ascetics attain the divine bliss; best of devotees sing these kIrtanas collectively.
Therefore, O folks! Come, let us attain all the fortunes of life by worshipping Lord Hari devoutly with these kIrtanas

Has MDR sung Koluvai? I heard a very brief Koluvai from him as part of a lec-dem. Wondering if he has given it elaborate treatment. I'm looking for Janani Mamava as well. I saw it recommended for me on Youtube and I meant to listen to it later but it has sort of disappeared.

Hi,

I'm looking for a particular rendition of MDR's Aparadhamula in Lathangi. This particular version starts off at the anupallavi (Krupachesi na). Maybe it's an old recording where the pallavi was cut off?

I'm not particularly a big fan of MDR but this concert was sublime. I didn't know MDR sang like this at all :) The vasanta is still ringing in my ears. And what accompaniment! 60s must have been the golden decade of CM for sure.
