Good news is that she has been awarded the Fulbright Visiting lecturer Fellowship2010. She is expected to teach in Fall semester @Duke University-North Corolina.Deserving. |

Dear Rasikas, Thank you all , for the wishes. Posting this message on behalf of Smt. Vijayalakshmy Subramaniam. She was not able to sign-in to rasikas.org due to some technical glitch. Smt. Vijayalakshmy is currently in the United States as part of the Fulbright fellowship. She has been invited as a visiting lecturer to the Duke University, Durham, North Carolina, USA, to teach the subject – ‘An Introduction to Indian Music’ (Aug – Nov 2010).She would also be teaching at the North Carolina State University, Raleigh. In addition to teaching, she would be presenting Carnatic Music Concerts in both educational institutions on Oct 28th and Oc 29th 2010 . She would be back in India by the first week of December.
