The lyrics which I have slightly varies:
Song : Vilayada idu nerama
Composer: T.N. Bala
vilaiyada idhu nerama muruga - en
vinaiyale padum padu dhanai solla varumbodhu
kalaithen janmam eduttu ilaitten porutthirundu
ulamara unai nadi unai pada varumbodhu (Vilaiyada)
puriyadha pudhiro nee ariyadha kalaiyo
parihasamo enmel paridhabamillaiyo
virithogai mayil meedhu varuvay enredhir parttu
vizhi mele vizhi vaitthu vazhi parthu varumbodhu (Vilaiyada)
There is a story behind the words 'Janmam eduthu ilaithen'
Maharajapuram santhanam was reluctant to use the words ilaithen ! It was changed to salithen
at his request. this is what I read in the net.
